IAG Partners with Codafication to Streamline Property Claims Management

IAG Partners with Codafication to Streamline Property Claims Management

Insurance Australia Group (IAG), a leading insurer in Australia, has announced a strategic partnership with Brisbane-based insurtech company Codafication to enhance its property claims management process.
This collaboration introduces the Crunchwork platform, designed to automate workflows and provide real-time updates to all parties involved in the claims process.

Scott Lindsay, IAG's Executive Manager of Property Fulfilment, highlighted the benefits of this integration, stating that suppliers, assessors, and IAG teams will have access to the same real-time information, including repair schedules, scope updates, and progress milestones. This unified approach aims to create a seamless customer journey by reducing delays and improving communication.

Daniel Sandaver, Founder and Managing Director of Codafication, emphasized the platform's ability to address the traditional 'triangle of confusion' among customers, insurers, and the supply chain. By providing real-time visibility on claim statuses, Crunchwork eliminates the need for manual updates via phone or email, thereby accelerating the rebuild process and enhancing transparency.

For construction professionals, this development signifies a shift towards more efficient claims handling, potentially reducing project delays and associated costs. The integration of advanced technology in claims management reflects the industry's commitment to improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

As the construction sector continues to navigate challenges such as rising costs and labour shortages, partnerships like that between IAG and Codafication demonstrate the importance of leveraging technology to streamline processes and mitigate risks.
