CHU Underwriting Agencies, Australia's leading strata insurance provider, has announced significant enhancements to its residential strata insurance policies.
These updates are designed to address the evolving needs of modern strata living by simplifying claims processes and providing more comprehensive coverage.

A key feature of the updated policy is the inclusion of built-in liability coverage, offering strata owners and committees greater protection against potential legal claims. This addition aims to bridge existing gaps in coverage, ensuring that strata communities are better safeguarded against unforeseen incidents.

In addition to enhanced coverage, CHU has introduced an indicative pricing feature that provides brokers with immediate, non-binding premium estimates. This tool is intended to improve transparency and reduce delays in the quoting process, enabling brokers to deliver more efficient service to their clients.

Kimberley Jonsson, CEO of CHU, emphasized the company's commitment to evolving with customer needs. She stated that the policy upgrades are focused on removing complexity and ensuring that strata owners receive the protection they require in today's dynamic environment.

For landlords and property investors, these enhancements offer several benefits. The built-in liability coverage provides an added layer of security, protecting against potential legal claims that could arise from incidents within the strata property. The immediate pricing visibility feature allows for more informed decision-making when selecting insurance coverage, ensuring that landlords can choose policies that best fit their needs and budgets.

As the strata insurance market continues to evolve, CHU's proactive approach to policy enhancement demonstrates a commitment to supporting the resilience and sustainability of strata communities across Australia.
