This downturn is largely attributed to growing investor concerns about the potential disruption posed by artificial intelligence (AI) within the insurance sector.

Traditionally, the insurance industry has been viewed as stable, with high barriers to entry due to its reliance on complex data analysis and risk assessment. However, the rapid advancement of AI technologies is challenging this perception.
